Hello! I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Ashoka University. My research interests are political economy, public economics and applied microeconomics. My dissertation project, completed at Yale University, ¬†examined the effectiveness of¬†the deliberative institution of “Gram Sabha” in Indian village councils.

I have been co-organizing a webinar series with Aaditya Dar (ISB Hyderabad) called SAMVAAD (Seminar in Applied Microeconomics – Virtual Assembly and Discussion). To know more about other such initiatives that I have been associated with, see my Service page.
